John K. Reinke, CFA
John K. Reinke, CFA in his role as Chief Investment Officer of Generation Growth Capital and Managing Director of the General Partner, is responsible for sourcing, investment evaluation, transaction execution, portfolio management, and oversight of internal controls and processes. Prior to joining GGC in 2007, Mr. Reinke was a partner with Facilitator Capital Fund, a lower middle market private equity fund. In his seven years of private equity experience at Facilitator, Mr. Reinke covered all facets of the investment cycle and gained valuable operating experience by assuming company management roles in a number of turnaround investment realizations. Mr. Reinke has direct management experience in a number of different industries including aerospace machining, steel foundries, outdoor sporting goods products, and general industrial manufacturing. Prior to joining Facilitator, Mr. Reinke spent five years at Firstar Bank (now U.S. Bancorp) in the Corporate Banking division.
Mr. Reinke currently serves as Chairman of the boards of directors of M2M Machining, Inc., Winsert, Inc., Clinkenbeard & Associates, Inc., Skyline Crane, Inc., and Killer Instinct, Inc. Other relevant board assignments have included positions with Kolpin Powersports, Inc., Sivyer Steel, Inc., Quality Assembly & Logistics, LLC, Midway Industrial Supply, Inc., Atlantic Precision, Inc., Tri Aerospace, Inc., Innovative Laser Technologies, Inc., 3rd Dimension Industrial Printing, Inc., and Harrell’s Car Wash Systems, Inc.
Mr. Reinke also is active in the community and has held board positions with Aurora Family Services, United Way Emerging Leaders, Washington County Youth Hockey Association, and is a volunteer coach and supporter of Germantown youth sports. Mr. Reinke also serves as an Executive Co-Teacher of Entrepreneurial Finance at Marquette University.
Mr. Reinke graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration from Marquette University. Mr. Reinke also has earned the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation.
